Ventnor Rugby Club Open Their 2024-25 season on Saturday 21st September 2024
This weekend marks the opening fixtures for both of the rugby club teams.on Saturday 21st September 2024:.
Ventnor RFC 1XV v Aldershot and Fleet RFC 1XV Fixture Counties 3 Hampshire League 2024-25
Chichester RFC 3XV v Ventnor RFC 2XV Fixture Hampshire Premiership South 2024-25
New Ventnor RFC 1XV skipper, Ben Savill names a strong squad with a Ventnor RFC debut from the very promising Lew Howard while Jack Gilbey is rewarded for his excellence in training with a Ventnor RFC 1st XV debut.
And it will be good to see how the new axis of Joe Coghlan and Max Wheeler perform after some real positive stuff in training throughout the off-season.
Talking of training, the club would like to thank Neil Evans, Clive Hill, Todd Riches and Deano Magnurson for the time they’ve put all through the summer.

Dan Lythgoe, Jewy Jones, Adam Pratt, Nathan Frampton, Andy Teague, George Collett, Lewy Morton, Ben Savill (capt), Joe Coghlan, Max Wheeler, Ed Blake, Lew Howard, Tom Crews, Jack Gilbey, Jake Babington, Grant Richardson, Ben Cooper and Fred Fairman.
Meanwhile Jack Rushton travels to Chichester RFC with an equally strong Ventnor Rugby Club 2XV squad with Henrik Brown and Iain Reeves making first league starts, in the Hampshire Premiership South League 2024-25.
